We are right there with you in terms of the weaning process. My daughter is the same age (right now she's 13.5 months) and weighs about the same (she was 17 lbs 10 oz at her 1-year appointment, so maybe 18+ now) and we don't measure like that at all. Nobody's ever told us we should or been concerned about her weight gain. And she loves solids, so she jumped up in percentiles when she started solids! I am wondering whether it is your personal preference/preemie history or whether the doctor wants you to measure like that, too. Just curious, not judging at all.Deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07335915683875653154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8198969049157532269.post-38899649239320030682014-02-16T19:35:02.277-08:002014-02-16T19:35:02.277-08:00Yay!!!!! My LO only likes a few veggies and fruits so she has 2-3 veg/fruit pouches throughout the day. In the states I preferred buying Plum Organics at BRU bc you can catch them on super sale. In the Middle East we have been buying Ella's. Great achievements! <br />At 18 months, we are still using sippy cups, for the most part. Sometimes I give him normal (plastic) cups, but those tend to be spilled immediately. :) Straws are more toy than utensil here also.JustHeatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05373768249873098150noreply@blogger.com
