Well, it's was a BFN this morning, but I haven't given up all hope.
Temp was up a degree. I know it's not much, but after 6 day of 97.6, it's nice to see a 97.7(3)!
Last time I felt twinges at 7dpo and got my BFP at 10. This time it was 9dpo.
I'm not that upset. I'll test again Sunday...
Oh boo. I am holding out hope that you'll get your miracle on Sunday. Take care!
ReplyDeleteHoping the next time you test you'll see 2 lines!
ReplyDeleteI'm still holding out hope too. That's a great temp jump for this point in the game!
ReplyDeletePulling for you! Will you wait to test tomorrow? I test 3x a day. With frers. Yes I'm psycho.
ReplyDelete3x Day!? I'm trying to reduce the amount of BFNs I see in my life! : )
DeleteOh duh...You're not testing until Sunday...Wow, willpower of steel!
ReplyDeleteBIG boo for white space today...Fingers and toes and eyes crossed for you for Sunday...
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome. Yay, willpower. And it sounds like you're so calm this time around - I think that's a good sign.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought about it that way, but I guess I am calm. Thanks. But I have definitely thought about whether or not to use an old OPK as a cheapie this afternoon...
DeleteFound you from SQ. I'm in my 2ww myself- at 5dpo. In both my past pregnancies, I have a BFN 10 DPO in the morning and the faintest of positives by evening, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteReading your TTC history and the tests your RE did not run on you, I think you are a possible candidate, given your age, for the fun trio of PCOS, thyroid issues and vitamin D deficiency messing stuff up.
Take a look at this, for more information.

DeleteWow...thanks for the info! My TSH is 2.83. I will have to ask about it. I don't think I'm vitamin D deficient; I live in Southern Cal and am somewhat active, but I don't think it's been tested. I wish I'd seen this a year ago!
DeleteI lived in Southern California and was fairly active (It WAS summer) and I had been taking close to 2000 IU/day Vit D during my pregnancy. 2 weeks after my loss, I discovered I was clinically deficient.
ReplyDeleteAlso, this is the trend I continue to see- many(but not all) REs are clueless/refuse to believe that thyroid autoantibodies/high TSH have anything to do with anything, despite the studies from their peers. From what I can see, people have had better responses from endocrinologists about this.
Since I lived in San Diego, I also know some of the local REs- if your Dr is Gabriel Garzo, you are in pretty good hands as far as the thyroid management goes. If its William Hummel or anybody in his practice, I'd see an alternate doctor immediately- he saw my TSH (also around 2.83) and did not raise any flags. After my first loss, we discovered I had anti-thyroid antibodies (thanks to Dr. Garzo) and got me on TSH. But nonetheless, I'm somebody who feels that thyroid issues during pregnancy are best managed by an endocrinologist.
If you are indeed pregnant, there is no time to waste, you need to get a prescription for T4 (levothyroxine) immediately and start on it, because all studies show thyroid requirements go up in pregnancy.
Ditto for the vitamin D- I'd get a blood test done ASAP, but in the meantime, I'd buy some and start taking it right away (atleast 2000 IU/day).
best of luck!
I have also heard great things about Dr. Garzo but I want to say now, after the fact, that Dr. Hummel was my doctor and I think he's fantastic. If anyone has questions about him, feel free to email me.
